Worship Styles
“God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in Spirit and in truth.”
John 4:24
Because no two believers travel an identical journey of faith, Graham Memorial Presbyterian Church adapts and embraces new approaches to meet the needs of its diverse members at any point along their journeys.
Ultimately, we believe that the purpose of the worship service is to provide an environment that leads people in the exaltation of our Creator, as we feel the presence, grace, and power of God in being part of the body of Christ.
Worship is a lifestyle. At Graham Memorial, we are intentional about using the language of worship during services to include practices such as prayer, confession, fellowship, meditation, hearing the Word preached, and of course, singing!
We believe that God loves to help us grow and that He sees a variety of worship styles as a means to inspire spiritual development and service to Him. He has led us to create two worship styles: traditional and blended.
Traditional Style
Sundays @ 9:00am
This service incorporates the more structured, liturgical styles of worship. If you are looking for traditional Christian hymns, organ music, recitation of the Lord’s Prayer, or an Assurance of Pardon, this is the service for you.
Blended Style
Sundays @ 10:45am
This service incorporates both the traditional and more contemporary styles of worship. If you are looking for more contemporary song lyrics, congregational prayer, or a more free-flowing, family-style service, this is the service for you.
