How to Ensure Your Preschooler's Success
Make certain that your child has adequate rest each night.
Serve your child a nourishing breakfast.
Remove as much stress as possible from morning routines.
Say goodbye in an upbeat fashion to reinforce that school is fun.
Say, “Tell me about your day,” instead of “What did you do today?”
When your child finishes answering, tell him about your own day.
Listen to your child. Conversations are special connections.
Escort your child to the library, museums & the zoo.
Limit television viewing.
Share dinner as a family.
Allow your child to show you how capable he or she is.
Walk more. Look more. Hug more.
Read to your child. Read to your child. Read to your child. Lots.
