Calendar Event Description

One of nine standing committees that report to the Graham Memorial Presbyterian Church Session, the Worship and Sacrament Committee consists of church elders who regulate the conduct of church worship services and the sacraments (rites) of baptism and Holy Communion.

The committee is responsible for the following:

To recruit, train, and schedule volunteer lay door greeters

To recruit, train, and schedule volunteer lay ushers

To recruit, train, and schedule ordained Holy Communion servers

To seek congregational recommendations for enhancing worship

To implement those recommendations, upon Session approval

MEETS	second W monthly    7:00–8:00pm     Jan–Dec
INVITATION	open to all church men and women 20 years of age and older
PURPOSE	to regulate the conduct of church worship services and sacraments
