The church pastor convenes the Annual Congregational Meeting in the sanctuary on the final Friday of January. Each church member attending the meeting receives a copy of the official Annual Congregational Report, which summarizes church business transacted during the period January 1 through December 31 of the previous year.
During the meeting, the church members vote on the pastor's compensation, the slate of newly nominated deacons and elders, and on the nominees to form the Nominating Committee for the current calendar year.
The one-hour meeting progresses at a brisk pace, adjourns promptly, and always provides enlightening perspective that strengthens pride in being part of the extensive Graham Memorial Presbyterian Church family.
